PLYMOUTH – Ronald L. “Ron” Harper, 53, formerly of Plymouth, passed away at 12:02 p.m. April 13, 2016, with his family by his side in the Golden Living Center of Elkhart.
He was born May 5, 1962, to Henry P. and Sue A. Clay Harper.
During Ron’s childhood, he enjoyed horses and being outdoors. He was a 1980 graduate of LaVille High School.
He is survived by his mother and stepfather, Sue A. (and James) Harper Kite, Winona Lake; three brothers: Keith (and spouse Kathy) Harper, Edwardsburg, Mich.; Kenneth Harper, LaPorte; and Steven (and spouse Brenda) Harper, Plymouth; a stepbrother, Jason Kite, Osceola; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, Henry Harper; his grandparents; and a stepbrother, Brian Kite.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at Van Gilder Funeral Home, Plymouth, with the Rev. Dennis Wenzel officiating. Burial will be in Bremen Cemetery at a later date.
