SYRACUSE – Ron Weaver, 66, Kimmel, passed away Feb. 7, 2016, at the Parkview Regional Medical Center, Fort Wayne. He was born Sept. 20, 1949, in LaGrange County, to Harry and Clara Burkey Weaver. On April 7, 1996, he married Kim Lowe, who survives in Kimmell. He retired after 28 years as a metal fabricator from Double Eagle Industries, Shipshewana. Also surviving are three daughters: Heather Valentine and Faith Weaver, both of Gainesville, Ga., and Jennifer Alton Lee, Jefferson, Ga.; four grandchildren: Dawson, Annabeth and Katie Lee; and Aiken Wilson; and two sisters, Miriam (and spouse Steve) Thompson, Ithaca, N.Y., and Verda Miller, Elkhart; and his mother-in-law, Sharon Bowen, Kimmell. He was preceded in death by his parents. Services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at Eastlund Funeral Home, with Pastor Terry Miller officiating.
