SYRACUSE - Ron "Bounty Hunter" Barley, 70, formerly of North Webster, passed away at 11:32 a.m. April 3, 2011, in The Oaks, Columbia City.
He was born Oct. 29, 1940, in Marion, to Elmer Francis and Margaret Charlotte Carberry Barley.
He worked at Zimmerman Gravel Pit for 18 years and the county highway department for several years.
Surviving are two daughters, Charisse (and spouse Adam) Gunkel and Tammy (and spouse Everett) Lockhart, all of North Webster; three sons: Dion (and spouse Mary) Barley, Richmond; Donald Barley, Rochester; and Bill Barley, North Webster; 14 grandchildren; and a great-grandchild. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Teresa Barley, who died in 1973.
Graveside services will be private.
Calling is from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Eastlund Funeral Home, 7458 E. CR 1000N, Syracuse.
