ELKHART - Roger B. Feiler, 70, Elkhart, died at 6 a.m. Feb. 12, 2009, at his son's home in Elkhart of natural causes.
He was born Dec. 9, 1938, in Akron, Ohio, to Rudolph F. and Ellen D. White Feiler. On May 20, 1962, in Warsaw, he married Doris M. Ringgenberg, who survives.
He was a founding pastor of Life Tabernacle Church in Elkhart and served as the pastor for 35 years. He was a member of United Pentecostal Church International where he held positions of Home Missions secretary and director. He was a graduate of Cuyahoga Falls High School in Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio, and Tupelo Bible College, Tupelo, Miss.
Also surviving are two sons, Roger A. (and spouse Renee) Feiler, Alexandria, Minn., and Rodney T. (and spouse Yalonda) Feiler, Elkhart; five grandchildren; a sister, Jane (and spouse Sam) Sisto, Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio; and brother, Greg Feiler, Pennsylvania.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Life Tabernacle Church with the Rev. Steve Spite officiating. Graveside services will be at 2:25 p.m. Tuesday at Oakwood Cemetery, Warsaw.
Calling is from 4 to 8 p.m. Monday at the church.
