NAPPANEE- Roger Allan Hollar, 64, of 104 E. 14th St., Marion, died at 5:15 p.m. June 8, 2011, in Marion General Hospital due to a sudden illness.
He was born March 3, 1947, in Elkhart, to Richard and Marjorie Brown Hollar.
He was a resident of Genesis Place, Marion, and was formerly of Nappanee. He was a graduate of Nappanee High School. He was a veteran of the United States Navy and fought in the Vietnam War. He was a former member of the Nappanee American Legion.
Surviving are a son, Seth (and spouse Lisa) Hollar, Carbondale, Colo.; two grandchildren, and two brothers, Gary Hollar, Tampa, Fla., and Mike (and spouse Rose) Hollar, Warsaw.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Thompson-Lengacher & Yoder Funeral Home, Nappanee, with Pastor Greg Boyland, Genesis Place, officiating. Military graveside services will be performed by the Nappanee America Legion. Burial will be in Milford Cemetery.
Calling is from 1 to 2 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
