Rodney A. Bouse, 63, died at 8:17 p.m. March 2, 2012, in Miller’s Merry Manor, Warsaw, where he resided.

He was born May 6, 1948, in Warsaw, to Forrest W. and Kathryn I. Chinworth Bouse.

A lifetime Warsaw resident, he worked at Cardinal Center for 18 years; in the Armex department at Zimmer Inc.; Wendy’s; and Phillips 66 Service Center.

He was a 1967 graduate of Warsaw High School where he was a trombone player in the band. He was a member of Otterbein United Methodist Church; Kosciusko County Special Olympics; American Truck Historical Society; and KCH Senior Circle. He was an outgoing people person and loved semi trucks – especially Kenworth. He could identify the various makes of semis from a distance and could tell by listening to a running truck what kind of engine it had in it. He also liked trains and was a true Elvis Presley fan and was heartbroken when he died.

Surviving are his mother, Kathryn “Katy” I. Bouse, Warsaw; three aunts: Margaret Garman, Atwood; Dora Jane Engle, Warsaw; and Elizabeth Ann Holt, Marion; and many cousins. He was preceded in death by his father, Forrest W. Bouse, who died June 8, 2005, and an aunt, Jane McConnell Chinworth, who died Feb. 25, 2012.

A graveside service will be at noon Wednesday at   Oakwood Cemetery Chapel, Warsaw, officiated by Pastor Jerry Thomas of Otterbein United Methodist Church, Atwood.

Titus Funeral Home, Warsaw, is in charge of arrangements.
