A recital featuring area music teachers will kick off this season's Rodeheaver Series for the Performing Arts.
The recital is set for 3 p.m. Sunday at First United Methodist Church in Warsaw.
The show will feature the Gentle Winds Woodwind Trio. The group comprises Dianne Martin-Ratliff, Donna Person and Mary Scott and performs at numerous receptions, dinners and local coffeehouses.
Person plays clarinet and is band director for Edgewood and Lakeview middle schools. Martin-Ratliff plays flute and has taught privately for 13 years. Scott plays clarinet and is an administrative assistant for the Warsaw Community High School music department.
Also featured will be soprano Connie Christner-Meadows. Phil Eherenman will perform on trombone and sing. Scott Avery, baritone, will also perform.
The performing arts series is open to the public and includes free admission. Other performances scheduled for the arts series are:

Pianists from IUSB, Feb. 15.
American Eagle Productions of Chicago will present "The Diary of Anne Frank," in the first dramatic presentation included in the series, March 30.
