Def Leppard and Poison are joining forces for the “Rock of Ages” tour with ’80s rock favorite Lita Ford opening the show. Joe Elliot, of Def Leppard, declared, “We had such a good time going out with Poison in 2009, that we thought it only right to do it again!”
Def Leppard continues to promote its first live album, “Mirrorball.” Released last June, the album is comprised of fan favorites recorded during the band’s 2008-09 tour in support of their most recent studio album, “Songs from the Sparkle Lounge.” Def Leppard is best known for its hits “Pour Some Sugar On Me,” “Photograph,” “Animal,” “Love Bites”, “Headed For A Heartbreak” and many more.
Poison, who toured with Motley Crue last summer, will also deliver a set packed with greatest hits. To mark their 25th anniversary, the band released a new greatest hits compilation last year. “Double Dose Of Poison: Ultimate Hits,” features 35 of the band’s top hits and fan favorites on two discs including “Every Rose Has Its Thorn,” “Unskinny Bop,” “Nothin’ But A Good Time,” “Talk Dirty To Me” and more.
