Roberto Cervantes, 50, Warsaw, passed away at 9 a.m. Monday, April 18, 2016, at his residence.
He was born Jan. 11, 1966, in Apaseo el Alto, Guanajuato, Mexico, to Ascencion and Maria Cervantes. In November 1994, he was married to Maria Ines Juarez, who survives in Warsaw.
He was a resident of Kosciusko County for the past 21 years, where he was self-employed in construction and a member of Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church of Warsaw.
He also will be lovingly remembered by his four sons: Roberto Jr., Alexi, Allan and Jovani Cervantes; his daughter, Joselin Cervantes; his mother, Maria Cervantes, Warsaw; three sisters: Rosalba (and spouse Abraham) Gordillo, Monica (and spouse Armando) Sanchez, Maria Cervantes, all of Warsaw; and his brother, Ruben (and spouse Maritza) Cervantes, Warsaw. He was preceded in death by his father, Ascencion Cervantes, who died Jan. 22, 2010.
Mass of Christian Burial will be at 3 p.m. Thursday at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church, Warsaw, and celebrated by Father Constantino Rocha Burial will take place in Guanajuato, Mexico.
Calling is from 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday with a rosary service at 7 p.m. at Redpath-Fruth Funeral Home, Warsaw.
