MILFORD – Robert Wolferman, 83, Milford, passed away Jan. 28, 2015. He was born July 30, 1931, in Warsaw, to John and Ruth Blough Wolferman. On April 27, 1962, he married Joyce Martin, who survives. He was a high school graduate, and went on to serve his country honorably in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. He retired from Duplex in Goshen, and went on to work in the maintenance department at Leisure Living after retirement. He was a member of Wawasee Community Bible Church, the Lions Club and the American Legion. He loved spending time outdoors and with his family. He was a kind, caring and loving husband and father, and was a friend to many – a stranger to none. Also surviving are five children: Chris (and spouse Lani) Wolferman, Jill (and spouse Jon) Nyce, Jennifer (and spouse Troy) Erst, Betsy (and spouse Ron) Knafel and Kyla (and spouse Jason) Vice; 12 grandchildren: Owen and Evan Wolferman, Sophia and Joel Nyce, Brody and Carly Erst, Jackson and Molly Knafel, Aaron and Kara Schrock, Lily and Daniel Vice; and one sister, Mary Jean Vanlaningham. He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Morris and Richard Wolferman. Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Wawasee Community Bible Church, 2035 E. CR 1300N, Milford, with Pastor Josh Weiland officiating. Burial is in Milford Cemetery. Calling is from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday and one hour prior to services Saturday at the church.
