FORT WAYNE – Robert William Stout, 97, died May 11, 2019, at Timbercrest Senior Living Community in North Manchester.
Mr. Stout was born in Bluffton on Jan. 30, 1922, to Robert Fountain Stout and Lela Dale Crouse Stout.
He was a World War II United States Navy veteran and stationed in Germany and Pearl Harbor.
He married Elizabeth LaVonne Mitchell in 1959 and she preceded him in death in 2001.
Robert was a shoe salesman for 54 years with B & B Shoes in Columbus and Warsaw.
Survivors include a son, Robert Stout of Columbus; a daughter, Cheryl Ann (Charles) Allen of Silver Lake; four grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held Saturday, May 18, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Victory Christian Fellowship, 112 W. Main St., North Manchester.
Funeral services will also be held Saturday, at 1 p.m. at Victory Christian Fellowship.
Burial with military honors will take place at Lake View Cemetery, Silver Lake.
Arrangements are by Northern Indiana Funeral Care of Fort Wayne.
