Robert Shelton, 54, Warsaw, died at 4:55 p.m. Oct. 22, 2015, at Kosciusko Community Hospital.
He was born Oct. 23, 1960, in Ironton, Ohio, to James F. Shelton and Peggy J. Creger Evans.
He lived in Warsaw for most of his life. He worked maintenance at Southwire Cable Works for eight months. He belonged to the Warsaw Moose Lodge.
He loved working on cars, golfing and was an avid fisherman. His family meant the world to him and he was always available to lend a hand to anyone who needed it.
Survivors include his former wife, Mary Shelton, Warsaw; a son, Bobby Lee Shelton, Warsaw; four step-daughters, Amy Hardy, Ashley O’Connor, Kathryn and Jennifer Logan, all of Warsaw; two stepsons, Billy Hardy, Warsaw, and David Logan, Las Vegas, Nev.; seven grandchildren: Seth Goodwin; Kaelyn, Christopher, Emma, Quinton, McKynzie and Lillie Logan; eight sisters: Patty Jacobs and Elain (and spouse Ron) Trumbull, all of Warsaw; Sherry (and spouse Leonard) Blanton, Vinton, Ohio; Linda (and spouse Tom) Stapleton, Lake City, Fla.; Catherine Shelton, New London, Wis.; Cynthia Eubanks, Palatka, Fla.; and Carol Weber and Christine Shelton, both of Ocala, Fla. He was preceded in death by his father, James Shelton, who died April 13, 2009; his mother, Peggy Evans, who died March 24, 2010; and his sister, Paula Blankenship, who died Sept. 19, 2010.
Services will be at 6 p.m. today at Titus Funeral Home, Warsaw, officiated by Pastor Bob Jarboe, chaplin at Kosciusko Home Care & Hospice. Burial will be at Oakwood Cemetery, Warsaw.
