Robert S. ‘Bob’ LuzbetakNORTH WEBSTER – Robert S. “Bob” Luzbetak, 80, of Cromwell, passed away at 5:30 a.m. on Thursday, April 22, 2021, at Parkview Hospital in Fort Wayne.
He was born on Dec. 12, 1940, in Joliet, Ill., to Joseph and Mary Matuszewski Luzbetak.
He graduated from Catholic High School in Joliet, Ill., attended Joliet Junior College, and barber school in Chicago. He was married on Oct. 25, 1985, in Monee, Ill., to Carol J. Yunker Seibert, who preceded him on July 17, 2016. He was a barber for 50+ years, the former owner/operator of Kings Row Barber Shop in New Lenox, Ill., and formerly worked at Reynolds Aluminum in Chicago. He lived most of his life in Illinois and moved to the Cromwell area in 2006 from New Lenox, Ill.
He is survived by two sons: Robert Luzbetak, of Wilmington, Ill.; and John Luzbetak, of Joliet, Ill.; four daughters: Jacqueline (Michael) Paulsen, of Myrtle Beach, S.C.; Frances White, of Columbia City; Kristine (Patrick) Tanner, of Bringhurt; and Jody Kaminski, of Orlando, Fla.; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; companion, Linda Hughes, of Muskegon, Mich.; sister, Barbara Luzbetak, of Joliet, Ill.; and four brothers: Joe (Virginia) Luzbetak, of Joliet, Ill.; Richard Luzbetak, of Joliet, Ill.; Ed Luzbetak, of Joliet, Ill.; and Ray (Marie) Luzbetak, of Yuma, Ariz.
He was preceded in death by his parents; wife; grandson, Christopher White; sister, Rosie; and an infant brother.
Cremation will take place at Cremation Services of Kosciusko County, 4356 N. Ind. 15, Warsaw. A private family Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. Owen Family Funeral Home, Ind. 13 and CR 500N, North Webster, is in charge of arrangements.
