ROCHESTER – Robert O. Tipton, 66, of Rochester, died at 5 p.m. Jan. 4, 2013, in his residence. He was born Nov. 20, 1946, in Fabius, Ala., to Chester and Audrey Phillips Tipton. His wife, Berth Sue, survives. Also surviving is his mother, Audrey Rocks, Rochester. He was preceded in death by his father and brother. Services will be at 4 p.m. Friday at Good Family Funeral Home, Rochester. Calling is one hour prior to the service Friday at the funeral home. Military rites will be by Tipton County Honor Guard and the Navy Honor Guard.
