Robert O. Light, 84, Warsaw, died at 10:40 a.m. May 22, 2007, in Miller's Merry Manor, Warsaw.

He was born Jan. 13, 1923, in Valparaiso, to Francis B. and Mayne Klein Light. On June 19, 1943, in Warsaw, he married Vivian Enyeart, who survives.

A lifetime Warsaw resident, he was supervisor at Warsaw Plating Works, retiring in 1988. He was a member of First Baptist Church, Warsaw; was a 1941 Warsaw High School graduate; and served in the Merchant Marines from 1941-45.

Also surviving are two sons, Steven W. (and wife Suzie) Light and Mrs. Joel R. (Cyndy) Light, both of Warsaw; a brother, Burnham Light, Washington Courthouse, Ohio; six grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

A graveside service will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Oakwood Cemetery, Warsaw, with Pastor Rick Nier officiating.
