Robert LantzSYRACUSE – Robert Lantz, of Syracuse, passed away on Tuesday, June 22, 2021, at his home.
He was born on Oct. 27, 1927, in Goshen, to Homer and Dola Long Lantz. He was a World War II U.S. Army veteran.
On Nov. 24, 1948, he married June Hummel who preceded him in 2014. He retired from Liberty Homes after 41 years of service in 1989.
He is survived by his son, Michael (Ausra) Lantz, of Port St. Lucie, Fla. Several nieces and nephews also survive.
Along with his wife June, he was preceded by his two brothers: Charles and Loyd; and two sisters: Sharon and Mabel.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 29 from 4 to 8 p.m. at the Eastlund Funeral Home, Syracuse. Services will be held on Wednesday, June 30 at 11 a.m. at the funeral home with Pastor Ron Packer officiating. Burial will follow at the Syracuse Cemetery.
