Robert L. Lackey, 56, Retired Tigers, Warsaw, died Sunday, Aug. 18, 2013, in Kosciusko Community Hospital, Warsaw. He was born June 5, 1957, in Bremen, to Richard and Diana Hawley Lackey. He was a 1976 Warsaw High School graduate. He was an auto mechanic and worked for Midas Muffler and L.L. Body Shop in Warsaw. He was a big NASCAR fan, loved fishing and camping and was an avid Star Trek fan. Surviving are his mother, Warsaw; a son, Robert R. Lackey, Mentone; a stepdaughter, Tiffany Harris, Warsaw; a sister, Catherine (and spouse David) Rapp, and Dawn (and spouse Roger) Ransbottom, both of Warsaw; a brother, Brad (and spouse Angel) Hamilton, Warsaw; special friend, Robin Harris; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father. Friends may call from 2 to 3 p.m. Friday in Titus Funeral Home. Graveside services will follow Friday at Palestine Cemetery, Palestine, with the Rev.
