NORTH MANCHESTER – Robert James “Bob” Hidy, 72, Wabash, formerly of North Manchester, died Oct. 19, 2026, at The Waters of Wabash East in Wabash.
He was born in Duluth, Minn., on July 21, 1954, the son of Jack and Esther Hendrickson Hidy. On Jan. 19, 2002, he married Dorothy Thom-Hoyt, who died Sept. 23, 2024.
A graveside service will be Nov. 4 at 2 p.m. at the South Whitley Cemetery. The family of Robert “Bob” Hidy has entrusted McKee Mortuary with his care and final arrangements.
