SYRACUSE – Robert J. Neibert, 86, North Webster, passed away Feb. 10, 2014, at Shands Hospital University of Florida Health, Gainesville, Fla. He was born April 18, 1927, in Leesburg to Ray and Crystal Parsons Neibert. On Oct. 1, 1949, he married Helen Joan Rogers, who preceded him in death in 2000. He was a World War II veteran and a member of the American Legion, North Webster. He retired from Syracuse Rubber. He enjoyed spending his winters in Hernando, Fla., and his summers in North Webster. Surviving are two daughters, Mary Jo Neibert, North Webster, and Barbara (and spouse Frank) Collins, St. Augustine, Fla.; and his companion, Lorraine Weeks, Hernando. Graveside services will be in the spring. Eastlund Funeral Home, Syracuse, is in charge of arrangements.
