NAPPANEE - Robert G. Toney, 64, of 1431 McCormick Drive, Nappanee, died at 7:20 a.m. Sept. 18, 2007, in his residence.

He was born May 25, 1943, in Richmond, to Eugene R. and Verda Blair Toney. On Oct. 26, 1984, in Gravelton, he married Sandy McDonald, who survives.

Living in Nappanee since 1962, he was a salesman at Travel Supreme Inc., Wakarusa, and a U.S. Navy veteran. He was a member of Turkey Creek Church of the Brethren and Nappanee American Legion Post 154.

Also surviving are a son, David Toney, Goshen; three daughters, Rhonda Toney, Phoenix, Ariz.; Mrs. Steve (Jill) Robinson, Granger; and Mrs. Jeff (Pebbles) Unsicker, Bremen; six grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; seven sisters: Imogene Jones, Mary Fox, Sarah Jane Hollingsworth, Sadie Ann Ellison, Nancy Kay Marsh, Linda Sue Scott and Dixie Lee Knecht; and five brothers: Carey Fremont, Jerry Dean, Nathan Hale, James Edward and Larry Daniel Toney. He was preceded in death by a grandson, a sister and two brothers.

Services will be at 3 p.m. Sunday at Thompson-Lengacher & Yoder Funeral Home, Nappanee, with the Rev. Roger Eberly officiating. There will be a military graveside service.

Calling is from 1 to 3 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
