FORT WAYNE - Robert E. Tigner, 72, of North Webster, died March 6, 2007, in his residence.
He was born to John and Bessie Tigner. His wife, Elnore Tigner, survives.
He retired from the local 232 Carpenters Union and served in the U. S. Army.
Also surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Ron (Debra) Mudrack, Fort Wayne, and Mrs. Bob (Brenda) Wolfe, Syracuse; four sons: Allen and Larry Tigner, both of Fort Wayne; John Tigner, Churubusco; and Ty Tigner, Markle; three sisters, Helen Wilson and Marilyn Houser, both of Fort Wayne, and Roberta Jackson, Saginaw, Mich.; 19 grandchildren; and nine grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a son, a grandson and two brothers.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Covington Memorial Funeral Home, Fort Wayne.
Calling is from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
