NORTH MANCHESTER — Robert E. Metzger, 89, North Manchester, died at 12:40 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 16, 2018, in his residence.
He was born Aug. 4, 1929, in Wabash County, to Glenn L. and Florence N. Brandenburg Metzger. He married Marjorie J. Geiser on April 3, 1949. She survives.
He retired from Manchester University in 1993 after 32 years of service.
The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Friday at North Manchester Old German Baptist Brethren Church, 12546 N. Ind. 13. Burial will be in the church cemetery
Calling is from 2 to 5 and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the church.
