SYRACUSE - Robert E. "Bob" Boocher, 84, of Bremen, died at 10:31 p.m. Dec. 19, 2009, at St. Joseph Regional Medical Center, Mishawaka.
He was born April 12, 1925, in South Bend, to Daniel F. and Grace Green Boocher. On May 23, 1948, in Bremen, he married Phyllis V. Silvey, who survives.
He was a member of Nappanee Missionary Church.
Also surviving are three daughters, including Rebecca (and spouse William) Hasse, Syracuse; three sons; 12 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and two sisters. He was preceded in death three brothers.
Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Nappanee Missionary Church Chapel, Nappanee, with Pastor Norm Reimer officiating. Burial will be in Bremen Cemetery with military graveside rites by members of Bremen American Legion Post 191.
Calling is from 2 to 5 and 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the church.
