NAPPANEE – Robert E. Averill, 84, Nappanee, died at 4:30 p.m. Feb. 6, 2014, at Elkhart General Hospital after a sudden illness. He was born April 26, 1929, in Dundee, Ill., to Newton Earl and Hazel Palmer Averill. On July 11, 1958, in Nappanee, he married Martha Dick. Private family services will be held at a later date and cremation will take place.
