SOUTH WHITLEY - Robert D. "Doug" Moore, 46, of Nappanee, died May 27, 2009, in his residence.
He was born Oct. 4, 1962, in Bay County, Fla., to Herman and Ruth Maddox Moore.
He attended Whitko High School and completed his GED in the 1990s. He spent his work career in the recreational vehicle industry with more than 10 years at Explorer Van, Warsaw, and for the past eight years with Forest River, Elkhart.
Surviving are his mother and stepfather, Ruth and Bill Sitts, Mentone; a daughter, Chelsea Moore, Claypool; two brothers, David (and spouse Darlene) Moore, Ossian, and Curt (and spouse Joni) Moore, Warsaw; and a sister, Teresa (and spouse Kevin) Steffe, Warsaw. He was preceded in death by his father.
A graveside service will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at South Park Cemetery, Columbia City, with the Rev. Barry Faucett officiating.
Calling is from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Smith & Sons Miller Chapel, South Whitley.
