Robert Carl Clemons, 70, Warsaw, went home to be with the Lord May 2, 2010, at Kosciusko Community Hospital, Warsaw.
He was born July 9, 1939, in Peru, to Haskel L. and Viola Maynard Clemons. On Sept. 19, 1964, in Silver Lake, he married Bonnie Jo Cumberland, who survives.
He lived in Akron 38 years, moving to Warsaw nine years ago. He was a welder for Peabody's, North Manchester, for 20 years and also for Wabash Valley, Silver Lake, for 10 years. He was a member of Center United Methodist Church, Silver Lake, and was a veteran of the U.S. Army from 1961 to 1963.
Surviving are two daughters, Diane Lozano, Akron, and Karen Jo Anderson, Warsaw; six grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, a son, three brothers and two sisters.
Services will be 1 p.m. Saturday at McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, Warsaw, with Sabrina Cline officiating. Calling is from noon to 1 p.m. Saturday at the funeral chapel.
