SYRACUSE – Robert “Bob” Thompson, 68, North Webster, passed away Aug. 15, 2015, at IU Health Goshen Hospital. He was born Feb. 21, 1947, in Paulding, Ohio, to Carl and Dorothy Sutton Thompson. In June 1970, he married Pat Sams, who survives in North Webster. He lived in Syracuse for 45 years before moving to North Webster. He was a U.S. Army veteran. He retired from Kinro Industries in Goshen. Also surviving is his dog, Buddy. He was preceded in death by his parents, and two brothers, Jim and Richard Thompson. Services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at Eastlund Funeral Home, Syracuse, with Pastor Brad Cox officiating. Burial is in Solomon Creek Cemetery, Benton.
