SYRACUSE – Robert “Bob” L. Lashley Jr., 66, of Pierceton, passed away April 30, 2013, in Kosciusko Community Hospital, Warsaw. He was born April 7, 1947, in Toledo, Ohio, to Robert Sr. and Joann Gaughn Lashley. His wife, Joann Lashley, survives in Pierceton. Moving to this area from Ohio in 1985, he retired from Dana Corp. in 2000. A U.S. Army veteran, he retired from the Air National Guard. He served as past commander of the North Webster American Legion 253. Also surviving are a daughter, Michelle Longenbarger, Toledo, Ohio; a stepson, Eric (and spouse Carrie) Hill, Fort Smith, Ark.; three grandchildren; a brother-in-law, John Sicks, Leesburg; and a sister-in-law, Judy Stewart, Osceola. He was preceded in death by two sisters and his parents. A memorial service will be at 1 p.m. Sunday at North Webster American Legion with Ken Wilson officiating and with military honors by members of the honor guard.
