NORTH WEBSTER – Robert “Bob” E. Nicholas Sr., 93, died at 7:15 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 4, 2019, at Paddock Springs Assisted Living Center, Warsaw.
He was born Feb. 20, 1926, in Mendon, Mich., to Earl and Grace Timm Nicholas. On July 5, 1946, he married Wava Wells. She preceded him in death on June 7, 2006.
Bob served in World War II with the U.S. Army Horse Calvary and was a lifetime member of the American Legion and VFW.
A memorial service will be held at noon Saturday, Sept. 21 at Owen Family Funeral Home, North Webster, with Pastor Robert Wyman officiating. Military rites will take place at the funeral home.
