Robert Adams Jr., 63, of Warsaw, died at 9:30 a.m. May 8, 2011, in Lutheran Hospital, Fort Wayne. He was born Sept. 30, 1947, in Isom, Ky., to Robert B. and Mary Magdaline Frazier Adams. On Oct. 11, 1974, in Trenton, Mich., he married Maryanne Davidson, who survives. Moving to Warsaw from Trenton five years ago, he was PACS administrator at Kosciusko Community Hospital, Warsaw, for five years. He graduated from Trenton High School in 1966, received certification in ARRT, R and CT from Wayne County General Hospital School of X-Ray Technology and attended Western Michigan University; A hobby farmer, he loved his animals, enjoyed country living; was a loving husband, dad and “boompa,” a was very generous and giving man. Also surviving are two daughters, Stacey (and spouse Bryan) Riffle, Livonia, Mich., and Shelby (and spouse Corey) Simpson, Blissfield, Mich.; a son, Robert A. Adams, Lincoln Park, Mich.; three grandchildren, Samuel, Avery and Grayson; three brothers: Fred (and spouse Carrie) Adams, Isom; Denzil (and spouse Joan) Adams, Coldwater, Mich.; and Tim Adams, Moore Haven, Fla.; two sisters, Linda Timmerman, Riverview, Mich., and Naomi (and spouse Jim) Taylor, Romulus, Mich.; and his mother, Mary Adams, Flat Rock, Mich. He was preceded in death by his father, Robert B. Adams, and a sister, Tillie Girardin. Services will be at 7 p.m. Wednesday at Titus Funeral Home, Warsaw. Calling is from 3 to 7 pm.
