BOURBON – Robert A. Irvine, 65, of Tippecanoe, died at 1:40 p.m. March 30, 2013, in his home.
He was born March 10, 1948, in Chicago, Ill., to Robert and Lucille M. Thompson Irvine.
He was a resident of Tippecanoe area since 1974 and was retired from Crown Electronics, Elkhart, as an electronics technician. Following graduation from Fenger High School, Chicago, in 1966 he later continued his education at DeVry Technical Institute. He served in the United States Navy from May 10, 1968, to June 5, 1974, when he was honorably discharged.
Surviving are two brothers, Edward (and spouse Bev) Irvine, Argos, and Tim Irvine, Shelbyville, Ky. He was preceded in death by his mother on Jan. 14, 2005, and his father on March 29, 1991.
In honoring his wishes there will be no visitation or funeral ceremony.
Deaton-Clemens Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
