Two men questioned about a robbery late Friday night were arrested for their alleged involvement with the crime before the sun rose Saturday morning.

Brady Lee Shepherd, 19, of 3373 S. Ind. 19, Mentone, was arrested and booked into the Kosciusko County Jail for felony robbery around 3:33 a.m. Saturday. Initially, he was held without bond, but a bond amount of $100,000 was set Sunday.

Douglas Blaine Jordan, 22, of 259 N. CR 300E, Warsaw, was arrested and booked into the jail for felony assisting a criminal. He also was initially held without bond, but a $10,000 bond was set Sunday.

Shepherd and Jordan allegedly were involved in the robbery of the Etna Green brand of PNC Bank Friday morning around 9 a.m.

The men reportedly fled in a 2008 dark maroon Chevrolet Silverado stolen from Warsaw Wholesale on Ind. 15 early Friday morning.

Numerous tips led police to Lozier's Mobile Home Park at Chapman Lake, Warsaw, where officers apprehended Shepherd and Jordan around 9:30 p.m. Friday night

Kosciusko County Sheriff's Dept. deputies, along with members of the Kosciusko County Drug Task Force and Claypool, Warsaw and Winona Lake K-9 units, took Shepherd and Jordan into custody without incident.

Shepherd reportedly told police he had "overdosed" on pills and was taken to Kosciusko Community Hospital, but was later transported to the Kosciusko County Jail.

Around 10:30 p.m. Friday, Winona Lake officer Joe Bumbaugh and his K-9 Hugo searched an area in the mobile home park and found a portion but not all of the undisclosed amount of money stolen from PNC bank that morning.

Officers also located the 2008 Chevrolet Silverado pickup truck that was used as the "getaway" vehicle from the bank robbery that had been stolen earlier Friday morning from Warsaw.
