Kosciusko County Sheriff's deputies apprehended a robbery suspect early this morning at the Leesburg Grain Elevator.
Martin Dewayne Myers, 35, of 436 S. Robinson Lake Road, Pierceton, is being held in Kosciusko County Jail without bond. He is being charged with burglary of a business.
A deputy on patrol in Leesburg spotted a door on the east side of the building that apparently was kicked in.
On further investigation, the deputy reported he saw a head peeking up from under a desk in the office. He then saw someone crawl from under the desk and sit down in a chair.
The suspect eventually surrendered to police. Deputies reported they found a cut on the man's finger and money in his pockets with blood on it.
The money allegedly taken from the office was recovered. Damage to the door was estimated at $500.
