An employee was pepper-sprayed Friday outside a Warsaw restaurant by a man who reportedly made off with the day's receipts.
Warsaw police responded to a 10:42 p.m. call of a possible armed robbery at Richard's Restaurant on Commerce Drive. There, they found that a female employee - who was dragging a box across the parking lot - was accosted by an unknown male.
The suspect reportedly was wearing all black, including a hooded sweatshirt, and a white skeleton mask. The man is estimated to be about 5-feet, 7-inches tall and of medium build.
After allegedly spraying the woman with pepper spray, the man reportedly took a money bag that the woman had and fled the area.
A K-9 track for the suspect ended west of the restaurant at the northwest corner of Lake City Bank.
Anyone with information about this robbery should call the Warsaw Police Department at 372-9511.
