Rita Sexton, 73, Warsaw, passed away at 9 a.m. Friday, June 29, 2018, at Kosciusko Community Hospital, Warsaw.
She was born Oct. 29, 1944, in Prestonsburg, Ky., to Lawson and Olga Kelley Stone.
A lifetime resident of Kosciusko County, she was employed as a CNA with Warsaw Meadows Health Care.
Rita was a member of New Hope Baptist Church, Warsaw.
She is survived by her children, Charlene Tillman (companion Billy Griggs), Cave City, Ky.; Bobbi Sexton, Warsaw; Tabitha Sexton, Warsaw; Chrisytal Sexton, Bourbon; Shanna Bailey (companion Matt Dausman), Mentone; Aubrey Sexton, Warsaw; and Tony (spouse Stephaney) Sexton, Alice, Texas; and her companion, Gene Huffman, Warsaw. In addition, she is survived by 18 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; sons, Brian “Bubba” Sexton and John E. Teeple; and grandchildren, B.J. Tillman and Shahalie Williams.
Visitation is scheduled from 4 to 7 p. m. Thursday, July 5, in McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, Warsaw.
Interment will be private in Palestine Cemetery.
