Right to Life of North Central Indiana’s annual fall banquet has been reformatted due to COVID-19 issues.
The event will now be offered as a program-only event with the options to attend in-person or watch online that evening.
The event will be Sept. 21 at Warsaw Community Church from 7 to 8:30 p.m.
Tickets to attend the event in person are $10 and are limited due to social distancing requirements. For more information and to register to attend in-person or to watch online for free, go to www.ProLifeBanquet.com or call 574-306-7406.
The emcee for the evening will be Grace College President Dr. Bill Katip. The keynote speaker will be Dr. Ron Archer.
Archer has been connecting with audiences ever since he started preaching Sunday nights in a Cleveland church when he was 16 years old. He now travels the globe sharing a message that God can use anyone, including someone like him, according to a news release from Right To Life. In the early 1960s, Archer was born to a 17-year-old prostitute in the inner city of Cleveland. Almost aborted, sexually abused by a babysitter, teased unmercifully by classmates for his stuttering and neglected at home, Archer wanted to die. At age 10, he put a loaded revolver to his head and pulled the trigger, but the gun didn’t fire. With the help of a teacher who introduced him to the Bible, Archer discovered Jesus Christ.
According to the release, “Now a celebrated public speaker, Ron's captivating presentation helps listeners experience the pain of a crisis pregnancy, the vulnerability of a child experiencing insecurity at home, the results of abuse during childhood, and he shares the hope that can only come from God.”
