Rider Injured When Car Hits MotorcycleA motorcyclist was injured after being hit by a car Saturday morning.
The motorcycle was being driven by a 20-year-old man southbound on North CR 175E, according to information provided by Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Office Public Information Officer Sgt. Doug Light.
A Honda, driven by a 22-year-old woman, turned north onto North CR 175E from a private drive. She did not see the motorcyclist that was following another vehicle. The Honda pulled into the road and hit the motorcycle.
While the woman was not injured, the motorcyclist was taken by helicopter to a Fort Wayne hospital for further evaluation. His injuries were unknown as of press time Sunday evening.
