Ricky R. Richardson SYRACUSE – Ricky R. Richardson, 49, of Syracuse, died at 12:08 p.m. May 17, 2012, in Parkview Hospital, Fort Wayne. He was born Nov. 16, 1962, in Michigan City, to Russell Roy and Dorothy A. Gouplski Richardson. He was a lifetime area resident and attended Wawasee High School, Syracuse. He worked at J.C. Manufacturing, North Webster, for the past 14 years and formerly worked at R&S Boats, Rome City; Hoosier Hot Rods, Syracuse; and Dewart Lake Marina. He was a member of Eagles Lodge, Syracuse, and Busting Loose Four Wheelers. He was a volunteer fireman in Syracuse for 15 years, was a race car driver at New Paris Speedway and was formerly affiliated with ABATE of Indiana. Surviving ae a daughter, Jessica Richardson (and fiance Tyler Beery), Syracuse; a son, Austin Richardson, Syracuse; a granddaughter; four sisters: Norma (and spouse Tom) Peters, Syracuse; Debra (and spouse Robert) Rector, Pierceton; Denise (and spouse Mark) Mast, New Paris; and Deanna Schisler, Syracuse; and four half brothers, Tom Prybo, Tucson, Ariz., and Rusty , Jimmy and Dukie Richardson, all of South Bend. Services will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Owen Family Funeral Home, Syracuse, with the Rev. Harlan Steffen officiating.
