Ricky Lee ‘Rick’ GerberSYRACUSE – Ricky Lee “Rick” Gerber, 59, of Syracuse, passed away at 6:41 p.m. on Friday, April 1, 2022, at his home.
He was born on Sept. 9, 1962, in Goshen, to Allen Roy and Delores Evelyn Hapner Gerber.
He was a lifetime Syracuse resident and graduated in 1982 from Wawasee High School in Syracuse. He was a truck driver for 3R Enterprises in Syracuse for over 35 years and was a member of North Webster Church of God.
He is survived by father, Allen Gerber, of Syracuse; two brothers: Ray (Melissa) Gerber, of Milford; and Ron (Stephanie) Gerber, of Syracuse; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his mother.
Visitation will be from 2 to 5 p.m. on Sunday, April 10 at Owen Family Funeral Home, 1001 S. Huntington St., Syracuse. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. on Monday, April 11 in the funeral home with Pastor Jeff Boyer officiating. Burial will follow in the South Union Cemetery in Nappanee.
