Ricky J. “Boo” Gibson, 36, Leesburg, passed away at 10:08 p.m. Sept. 25, 2015, at Parkview Regional Medical Center, Fort Wayne. He was born Jan. 22, 1979, in Dade City, Fla., to Rick R. and Phyllis Shepherd Gibson. On July 3, 1996, in Warsaw, he married Susanna “Red” Miretti, who survives in Leesburg. He was a lifelong Kosciusko County resident. He was employed by Forest River/Starcraft as a production swing man. He was an avid motor sports enthusiast, including four wheelers and motorcycles. While often a quiet person, he was jokester also who enjoyed spending time with family and friends. He was always willing to help family and friends with mechanical issues. Also surviving are: two daughters, Cheyenne “Rapper” and Madison “Dragon” Gibson, both of Leesburg; his parents; and a sister, Amanda (and spouse Richard) Allen. He was preceded in death by a brother, Daniel Gibson. Services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, Warsaw, with the Rev. John Miretti officiating. Burial is in Oakwood Cemetery, Warsaw. A time of fellowship for family and friends will follow at the family residence.
