NORTH WEBSTER – Richard J. “Dick” Harmon, 71, of North Webster, died at 7:07 a.m. Sept. 13, 2012, in Visiting Nurse & Hospice Home, Fort Wayne.
He was born June 7, 1941, in Seneca, Mich., to Wilbur Joseph and Ruth O. Bell Harmon.
He attended high school in Adrian, Mich., and served 20 years in the U.S. Army. He has lived most of his adult life in the Kosciusko County area and moved to North Webster 11 years ago. He was a life member of Veterans of Foreign Wars, Warsaw.
Surviving are a son, Michael Harmon, Edgerton, Mass.; a sister, Mary Lou (and spouse Merv) Whitehead, Warsaw; and a brother, James (and spouse Donna) Harmon, Wabash. He was preceded in death by two brothers.
A memorial service will be at 6 p.m. Thursday at Owen Family Funeral Home, North Webster, with Pastor Dennis Judy officiating.
