PIERCETON – Richard E. Banks, 65, of Pierceton, died at 11:30 a.m. Nov. 19, 2011, in Kosciusko Community Hospital, Warsaw.
He was born Nov. 28, 1945, in Allen County, to Eugene H. and Rosemary Banks.
He resided in Pierceton from 1995 to the present. He worked at Maple Leaf Farms, retiring in 2005. He served in the U.S. Army from 1962-66 in Germany with the U.S. Armored Division.
Surviving are two sons, Ricky and Eric Banks, both of Pierceton; two sisters, Tina Banks, Florida, and Kathy Banks, Fort Wayne; two brothers, Scott and Larry Banks, both of Fort Wayne.
Services will be private.
McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, Pierceton, is in charge of arrangements.
