ROCHESTER – Richard D. Crall, 69, of 520 W. 9th St., Rochester, died at 11:47 p.m. Aug. 26, 2012, in Parkview Regional Medical Center, Fort Wayne, with his family at his bedside.

He was born Aug. 9, 1943, in Kosciusko County, to Estel and Catherine Towne Crall. On May 31, 1969, in Rochester, he married Barbara A. Kurz, who survives.

He went to school at Beaver Dam and served in the U.S. Army, stationed in Banburg, Germany, during the Vietnam War. He worked at Dean Foods for more than 30  years.

Also surviving are two sons, Kevin (and spouse Richelle) Crall, Fort Wayne, and Nathan Crall, Rochester; two step-grandchildren; and two sisters, Kay (and spouse  Dave) Biganski, Cowlesville, N.Y., and Susie (and spouse  Laddie) Helser, Warsaw. He was preceded in death by a son and two sisters.

Burial will be at a later date in Odd Fellows Cemetery, Rochester.

Calling is from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Zimmerman Bros. Funeral Home, Rochester.
