SYRACUSE – Richard A. “Dick” Scott, 64, of South Bend, and formerly of Syracuse, died at 4:26 a.m. Dec. 13, 2011, in Memorial Hospital, South Bend.
He was born Sept. 11, 1947, in Goshen, to Stanley Roy and Betty Jane Auer Scott.
He graduated from Milford High School and was a United States veteran of the Vietnam War. He formerly worked at Scott Enterprises, Northern Indiana Public Service Co. and in the recreational vehicle industry.
Surviving are a daughter, Tina (and spouse Eric) Brown, South Bend; a son, Todd Scott, Mishawaka; two granddaughters, Abby and Sophia Brown; and a sister, Suze (and spouse David) Butler, Syracuse. He was preceded in death by a sister.
No public services are planned at this time.
