Ricardo Perez Ricardo Perez, age 64, of Richmond, Ky., passed away unexpectedly at home on Tuesday, Sept. 10, 2019, at 3 a.m. He was the son of Pedro Perez and Porfiria Campos Perez and born on July 27, 1955, in Brownsville, Texas.
Ricardo was a supervisor for White Metal in Warsaw for many years. He moved to Kentucky several years ago and previously attended Warsaw’s Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church.
Survivors include his wife, Susan Atkins-Perez, of Richmond, Ky.; sons, Ricardo Perez Jr. (wife, Sara), of Brownsville, Texas; and Robert Perez (wife, Elizabeth)m of Richmond, Ky.; and brother, Gilbert Perez, of Warsaw. Numerous nieces and nephews also survive, the majority of them residing in Texas and Kentucky.
His parents preceded him in death, as did brothers, Emelio, Raul, Pablo and Robert Perez; and sister, Rosa Castillo.
A memorial mass will be held for Ricardo at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church, 225 Gillam Drive in Warsaw on Tuesday, Sept. 17 at 6 p.m.
Titus Funeral Home is assisting the family locally with burial in Oakwood Cemetery at a later date.
