Ribbon Cut On Poly-Wood Expansion

Posted

The Syracuse-Wawasee Chamber of Commerce and the Kosciusko Chamber of Commerce joined together Monday for a ribbon cutting at Poly-Wood LLC, 825 W. Brooklyn St., Syracuse. Poly-Wood is an outdoor furniture company that has been turning recycled materials into durable, all-weather furnishings in Kosciusko County since 1990. It just completed a new 230,000 sq. ft. manufacturing and warehousing facility which will more than double its workforce. Along with creating new jobs, the new building will allow Poly-Wood to meet growing customer demand for its all-weather furniture products, according to information from the chamber, and help streamline the shipping process with improved access for transportation at its production facilities. Pictured (L to R) are: Brady Maller, vice president of strategy and development; Megan Pierson, vice president of sales and marketing; Doug Rassi, president and CEO; Sean Rassi, vice president of design and technology; Ross Munn, general manager; and George Robertson, president, Kosciusko Economic Development Corp.
