Rhonda Sue Phifer, 54, of Warsaw, passed away at 4 p.m. May 16, 2013. She was born Dec. 14, 1958, in Indianapolis, to Virgil E. and Bette J. Osborn Rutter, who survive in Syracuse. On Jan. 27, 1979, she married Don Phifer, who survives in Warsaw. She was a graduate of Brown County High School in 1977. She moved to Kosciusko County in February 1984, where she became a realtor in 2005. She worked for Lucas Realty, Re/Max Realtors and Coldwell Banker Roth Wehrly Graber. She was a good Christian woman, with a deep Baptist faith. She will be lovingly remembered by a son, Chris (and spouse Bernice) Phifer, Pierceton; a daughter, Lisa Henrickson, Pierceton; five grandchildren; a brother, Sam Rutter, Whiteland; and three sisters, Michelle (and spouse David) Bjella, Myrtle Beach, S.C.; Pam Hildebrand, Indianapolis; and Debbie (and spouse Don) Steele, Alabama. She was preceded in death by her father, Virgil E. Rutter, who died in 2002, and a son, Jason, who died in 1997. Services will be at 4 p.m. Monday at Redpath-Fruth Funeral Home, 225 Argonne Road, Warsaw, with Pastor Terry Bradford officiating.
