Let’s get this straight: The Republicans have Elon Musk dumping millions of dollars into their campaigns. DNI seized Georgia voting records (deemed true and valid years ago) to supposedly find fraudulent ballots. They have gerrymandered states in order to disenfranchise minority voters. They have gutted the Voting Rights Act — thanks to bought and paid for SCOTUS judges. They have posted election deniers in state and federal roles overseeing elections. They are considering placing ICE and Feds near voting places to try to intimidate voters. They are trying to confiscate voter lists through the USPS hoping people will not get ballots until the states hand over their election data. They have sidelined CISA (the agency that guards elections from foreign interference), and they have threatened election workers with prosecution.
Yet Democrats are the ones trying to cheat?
The Republicans are trying to convince everyone that so many illegals are voting, but according to the Heritage Foundation (authors of Project 2025 — the plan followed by the Trump administration to destroy our democracy, our Constitution, and our rule of law) their own study found that since the year 2000, only 89 cases of noncitizens voting were found. The majority of those were green card holders who mistakenly thought they could vote, and there is no way to even tell who they may have voted for.
Elections matter. Every single vote matters. Don’t let the frantic, desperate shenanigans of Trump and his election deniers deter you from your right to vote. Every election polling site has both Republicans and Democrats monitoring the voters. Every election polling site has responsible officials monitoring the election process. Our elections are fair, safe, and reliable …. always have been …. always will be. It is not Democrats who are doing everything they can to make voting more difficult. It is not Democrats spreading fear and doubt about the security of our elections.
Ignore the noise, the lies, the threats, the fear mongering. Do not be intimidated. Stand up and exercise your right to make your voices heard — with your vote.
