I just could not resist adding names of some Republican women to the list given by Kathleen Parker in Wednesday's paper. Her choices of Meg Whitman, Carly Fiorina, Meg McCain and Liz Cheney were good. Although I do not agree with some of the views of these women, most give good arguments for what they believe.
But I want to add the names of some other prominent Republican women. Think about Michelle Bachman (R-Minn), Sarah Palin, Ann Coulter, Michelle Malkin, Bay Buchanan and the wonderfully nutty Betsy McCaughey. Jon Stewart said to Betsy as he interviewed her that she is "...a nice woman but I don't understand how your brain works." Collectively, these women have come up with more half truths, fabrications, nutty ideas and just plain lies than any other group of six people. Congratulations to Republicans for embracing them in their party.
