The senatorial run is sure growing interesting. We have some good grassroots candidates running along with some other Hoosiers who have some experience in the legislature area.
Well, thanks to the Republican Machine, these men weren't good enough. In comes Dan Coats. Dan Coats is a lobbyist for a bank. Dan Coats hasn't resided in Indiana for years.
Kosciusko Silent No More has a senatorial debate scheduled for this coming Saturday, March 6. Dan Coats received two invitations via e-mail, no response. I personally called in to WOWO one morning when he was in and asked him if he would come, since we haven't had a response from him.
He said he was almost positive he was coming, but they just hadn't sent the formal acceptance. We waited. A national media outlet contacted us and wanted to cover the debate and we accepted.
Again, a contact was made to WOWO for them to forward this information to Dan Coats. They forwarded the information about national media and magic - Dan Coats contacted us and is so excited to be a part of the debate. He even released a press release soon after stating that he would be there.
Now, other tea parties have tried to contact him as well and he is treating them the same way he treated us by ignoring them. If the Republican Machine gets this man elected, expect politics as usual from Washington D.C.
Come to the debate at the Center Lake Pavilion in Warsaw Saturday. Doors open at 9:30 and the debate is from 10 a.m. to noon. Meet the candidates and make your voice known in the May primaries. For those who would like to hear it but can't make it to the debate, they can listen to it on the radio at 98.3 FM WOIE.
